The foundations of interior design lie in the powerful process of creativity and in the mastering of craftsmanship. That is also why we are proud of our projects. They are the result of an intensive, service-oriented interaction with our clients, our partners and the project context. Our approach is comprehensive: creative concept, detailing, materiality and spatial qualities are intrinsic and integral parts of our projects.
At the same time, we think that optimizing budgets, orchestrating schedules and designing the perfect space are things of beauty, too. |
Amanda Sacy, Lead Designer + FounderLead designer, studied at Purdue University and Columbia College of Chicago, earning a BFA in Interior Architecture. While in college, Amanda interned at the prestigious Roger Thomas lead firm, Wynn Design and Development in Las Vegas, where she was first introduced to hospitality design. Amanda enjoyed this experience, but wanted to explore high end residential design, working as a design assistant at Chicago based firms Anthony Michael Interior Design and Faith Kiehart Design. After learning from these two great designers, Amanda decided she wanted to join a boutique firm in Chicago's West Loop focusing on commercial design and high end residences. It was at Slick Design where she was able to work as a Project Manager for large scale commercial projects such as Old Crow Smokehouse River North + Wrigleyville, Smack Shack Chicago, The Lytle House, Tunnel and Taco Madre. In 2016, Amanda ventured out on her own, establishing Tailored Nest Design. She focuses on high-end residential design and commercial space design.
