Tailored Nest Design, established in 2017, was founded by lead designer Amanda Sacy.

Amanda’s enthusiasm for design led her to study at Purdue University, as well as Columbia College of Chicago. Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in interior architecture, which she then followed up with an internship at Wynn Design and Development in Las Vegas. It was there Amanda was first introduced to hospitality design. After college, seeking to expand her expertise in both high-end residential and commercial design, Amanda worked at a number of prestigious Chicago-based firms, strengthening her foundation, and honing her craft.

In 2017, Amanda founded Tailored Nest Design, which delivered clients a successful, wide range of both residential and commercial projects. Her firm’s biggest accomplishment to date was designing the award-winning Center for Clinical Wellness at Rush University Medical Center. Tailored Nest Design also worked with an auspicious start-up, Sonder. Here, she designed luxury, short-term rentals in the Chicago area.

In 2020, Amanda came onboard as Chief Creative Officer at Juniper Holiday and Home. Her award-winning design success is drawn from a uniquely rich blend of creative concepts, master craftsmanship, attention to details, and a personal commitment to working within each client’s needs, budget, and schedule.

In 2023, Amanda teamed up with Michigan native and general contractor, Heather Wilkins. Together they launched Tailored Nest Construction, a boutique female owned design-build firm.

We are dedicated to providing timeless, expertly designed spaces for you and your family.
